Lisa Swiderski

As Senior Vice President, Distribution Strategy and Personal Banking Solutions at National Bank of Canada, Lisa Swiderski is responsible for establishing and implementing business strategies for the personal banking sector. She has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held several positions at the executive level in a variety of areas, including finance, operations and risk management.  

Lisa Swiderski also has very extensive experience in governance. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Interac, a member of its Audit and Finance Committee, and Chair of its Human Resources Committee. In addition to this involvement, she is a member of MasterCard’s Canadian Advisory Board, a director of The Food Banks of Quebec, and has been head of that organization’s Infrastructure Committee since 2017. Ms. Swiderski has also been a director, and treasurer, for the Théâtre Denise-Pelletier and Co-Chair of its benefit evenings from 2014 to 2016. She was a director, and treasurer, for the François-Michelle Foundation. She also involved herself in the work of the Berthiaume du Tremblay Foundation, an organization dedicated to the well-being of the elderly, as a director. Last but not least, she is actively engaged in a variety of programs that provide mentorship to young professionals.  

Lisa Swiderski holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and an MBA from HEC Montréal. She also holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation.
