Founded in 1985, the Ambassadors Club consists of 330 influential individuals who, while pursuing their professional activities, have been instrumental in bringing large-scale events to the Palais. Ambassadors are dynamic individuals who play an important role in contributing to the economic and intellectual advancement of Montréal and the province.
The Palais’ Ambassadors hail from every field and include university professors, researchers, and members of the business community. They are the crème de la crème of professionals, and are always happy to welcome new actors of change who will likewise contribute to their fields with the constant support, guidance, and expertise of the Palais.
Appointed Ambassador in 2006 and 2011, Professor Hany Moustapha is a leader in the region’s aerospace industry. Instigator of the Aerospace Major Events committee, he is also a full professor of mechanical engineering and the director of AÉROÉTS, senior research fellow at Pratt & Whitney, and executive chairholder of the NSERC-P&WC Industrial Research Chair on Propulsion System Integration and Optimization.
