The events and facilities at the Palais des congrès are accessible to people with reduced mobility and have received the “Total Access” accessibility rating from Kéroul, a Québec organization dedicated to promoting tourism and culture for people with restricted physical ability.

Wheelchair rentals

To make your visit to the Palais des congrès de Montréal as accessible and comfortable as possible, standard wheelchairs are available for free for the duration of your visit, on a first come, first served basis (no reservation possible).

Loan terms

  • Where to go: When you arrive at the Palais, go to the security office, located in the Saint-François-Xavier passageway.
  • Information required: You will be asked to provide your name and telephone number in order to complete the loan register.
  • Wheelchair return: The wheelchair must be returned to the security office the same day.

Note: There is a limited number of wheelchairs, and their availability can vary during busy periods. For certain major public events, such as fairs and exhibitions, the organizers may set up special distribution points.

Our parking lot offers reserved spaces for people with limited mobility. It is located at 1025 Chenneville Street and is accessible via Viger Avenue.
