Jean-Sébastien Boudreault

A member of the Barreau du Québec since 2001, Jean-Sébastien Boudreault was President of the Association québécoise des avocats en immigration from 2013 to 2018, Vice‑President of the Montréal Pride Festival from 2008 to 2020, and played an active role from 2005 to 2008 within the Canadian Bar Association’s Immigration Law section. He was President and CEO of the Association hôtelière du Grand Montréal from November 2021 to February 2024.

After completing a master’s degree in public international law at Université de La Réunion (1999), and a law degree at Université Laval (2000), he began his legal career in 2002. As a lawyer in international business and immigration law, he first worked at the Hong Kong office of Mandeville & Associates, and then became manager of their Beijing office in 2003. With this extensive management experience under his belt, Me Boudreault was mandated to return to Montréal in 2004 to open and manage an office for Mandeville & Associates, and develop the Middle Eastern market. This phase of his career took him to Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh, among other countries.

Me Boudreault has had the opportunity to share his knowledge of immigration and LGBTQ+ rights at several conferences and seminars. In 2007, he opened his own law firm and conducts interviews for immigrant investors and entrepreneurs in Damascus, Montréal, Hong Kong, Paris and Turkey. Since 2015, he has also acted as counsel responsible for client acquisition and case management, and as an immigration consultant for various firms.
