Jean joined the Palais team in December 2019 as Director of Property Management. He is tasked with assisting the Palais’ executive leadership with its strategic initiatives and operations regarding the building’s management, mainly as these pertain to maintaining the property’s assets, but also improving the customer experience in the areas in his charge, such as security, parking and housekeeping. Jean graduated in Architecture from Université de Montréal. He also holds a Bachelor of Urban Studies from Concordia University.
He has worked on numerous major construction and renovation projects of varying magnitude for several Montréal institutions, including Concordia University, UQAM university, the Old Port of Montréal Corporation, the ITHQ tourism and hotel management institute, the McCord Museum, and Place des Arts. Jean orchestrated the complete upgrade of the Wilfrid-Pelletier foyers and concert hall at Place des Arts, for which the venue earned two prestigious awards in 2017-2018. Throughout his career, Jean has been actively and extensively involved in a wide range of projects spanning building operations, maintenance and asset management
