Lucie Rémillard is a graduate of Université du Québec à Montréal, and an ICD.D certified director from the Institute of Corporate Directors. She has held a number of senior positions with major not-for-profits in Canada, France and the US. Ms. Rémillard founded and presided over United Way Tocqueville France, headed development at the American Hospital of Paris and chaired its foundation in New York, also chaired the Sainte-Justine Hospital Foundation, served as executive director of external affairs for the Montreal Neurological Institute, and as executive director of the Centraide of Greater Montreal campaign. Honours from peers include the 2016 Award for Outstanding Career in Philanthropy, in recognition of her impact on the community via her leadership, vision and values. Ms. Rémillard has been at the helm of LR Stratégie, strategic planning and development consulting. Through her involvement with various boards of directors, Ms. Rémillard has actively contributed to the development and governance of numerous organizations and associations. She currently chairs the board of Novalex, and also sits on the boards of the newspaper Le Devoir, Applications MD (EZRESUS) and District Montréal.
