Karine Plamondon has held the post of Events Director at the Palais des congrès since 2024. A role representing the culmination of a successful 30-year career path, backed by a vision that focuses on solutions and organizational development.
Armed with a degree in tourism, Karine Plamondon worked in incoming tourism for over 8 years before joining the Palais des congrès team in 2001.
Ms. Plamondon’s background is a testament to her dedication to the organization. For more than 15 years, she assisted hundreds of clients with their event planning in her role as Event Manager. Her organizational skills, attention to detail and unparalleled ability to meet her clients’ needs earned her the title of “Supplier of the Year” at Experient’s 2017 annual gala, held in the United States.
Starting in 2018, Karine Plamondon took on the head of the Department of Event Planning and Management, allowing her to share solid expertise with the Palais en congrès’ team of event and exhibitor services managers. Thanks to her leadership and unwavering support of the internal teams, she has achieved exceptional customer satisfaction results, which are now the foundation of the organization’s reputation.
