Emmanuelle Legault

President and CEO

Emmanuelle Legault

Emmanuelle Legault is the first female president and CEO in the history of the Palais des congrès de Montréal. Appointed to the position in 2021, she is widely recognized for her international expertise in tourism and for strategically fostering Montreal’s role as an economic and cultural driver. Mrs. Legault has 20+ years experience as a top-level manager in key positions within the advertising industry and tourism sector. After 10 years at Tourisme Montréal, she joined Destination Canada in 2016 as Vice-President of International Affairs. But the pull of Montreal was too strong, so after three years in Vancouver, she returned to her native city brimming with inspiration and new ideas, and resumed her innovation and development work at Tourisme Montréal as the organization’s Vice-President of Marketing and Strategy.

Because of her collaborative nature and her extensive knowledge of the tourism industry and business events, Mrs. Legault has consistently been drawn to diverse and dynamic working environments throughout her career. This includes managing multidisciplinary and multilingual teams in 11 different markets, such as the United States of America, France, Japan, Brazil and India. She also sits on the Community Advisory Committee boards of Aéroports de Montréal, Montréal en lumière and Tourisme Montréal.

Mrs. Legault’s solid network of contacts enables her to nurture strong ties with business partners and government institutions. And her wide-ranging skill set in strategic branding contributes the Palais des congrès de Montréal to broadening its reputation and reach locally and globally.
