Minding every detail even in challenging conditions
We had our Polytechnique Montréal students write their finals (December 2020) at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, it was undoubtedly the safest solution: number of entrances and exits, room sizes, quality of ventilation. In addition to our rules, the Palais also had their own strict health and safety protocol, with every detail having been meticulously thought out to make our sizeable gathering safe for everyone. Lineups were managed efficiently and any crowds were immediately dispersed, there were numerous hydroalcoholic gel stations, rooms and desks were rigorously disinfected in record time: the Palais was definitely the best place for us to hold our final exams safely.
