Nuit blanche 2026: The Palais des congrès in festive mode

On Saturday, February 28, the Palais des congrès de Montréal is throwing open its doors for Nuit blanche 2026 and invites the public to take part in the festivities in the heart of downtown. Over the course of a night, its vast public space will be transformed into a convivial place to gather.

Nuit blanche à Montréal, a flagship event of the MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE festival, transforms the city each year into an immense artistic and cultural playground. For the occasion, the Palais des congrès, guided by its creativity, created a free experiential journey for festivity-goers of all stripes.

On the program: games, collaborative activities, dance, and gourmet snacks for one and all. Outdoors, Celestia, a captivating work in the LUMINO winter light festival, will come to life in front of the Palais’s colourful facade as Montréal’s night owls interact with it.

At the crossroads of Old Montréal and downtown, the Palais des congrès will host the public from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., offering an accessible place to have fun, take a break, warm up, and prolong the magic of Nuit blanche!

  So you can fully savour your Nuit blanche, Maestro Culinaire, the Palais’ exclusive food service partner, will regale night owls with freshly made popcorn. Craving something sweet? Drop by the lollipop stand, the perfect treat for sweet toothers (limited quantities – first come, first served!).
