The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) has ranked Montréal as the top host city in North America for international events, for a 4th straight year.
In 2019, 92 international events held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, Montréal universities and hotels qualified for this prestigious ranking. These events brought together 60,000+ participants, who generated several thousand room nights in our hotels while experiencing Montréal’s trademark hospitality. With this enviable result, the city outperformed other destinations such as Vancouver, New York, Toronto and Chicago.
The excellent work performed by the Palais des congrès and its Ambassadors, by Tourisme Montréal and all the tourism and institutional partners has once again paid off!
