The Palais des congrès de Montréal is pleased to announce its collaboration with LUMINO, 15th edition, a must-see free event presented by Partenariat du Quartier des spectacles from November 28, 2024 to March 9, 2025*. By partnering with the event, the Palais is affirming its commitment to showcasing Montréal’s style and personality and celebrating our city’s cultural vitality by offering a unique immersion into the magic of winter in Montréal.

For the duration of LUMINO, the Palais will be hosting Biolumen, a captivating installation by Toronto artist Radha Chaddah, created in collaboration with the architectural firm RAW Design. This riveting work is on display in front of the Palais’ emblematic colourful glass facade, at the corner of Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle and Saint-Antoine Street West.

Biolumen invites visitors to immerse themselves in a luminous and organic universe, inspired by the bioluminescent creatures that inhabit the ocean’s depths. As spectators interact with the installation, it responds by changing colours and intensity, creating a poetic and immersive experience. Designed to transform the urban space into a fairytale landscape, Biolumen creates a peaceful and mysterious atmosphere, where colourful projections and captivating melodies weave a harmonious connection between art and nature.
