Launch of the 11th edition of the Palais des congrès de Montréal and FRQ’s competition "Soutien à l’organisation de congrès internationaux"

The Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) and the Palais des congrès de Montréal are pleased to invite the scientific community to participate in the 11th edition of the Soutien à l’organisation de congrès internationaux (Supporting the Organization of International Conferences) 2025-2026 competition.

This competition seeks to recognize the contribution of researchers in organizing major international scientific conferences held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal—international scientific conferences that represent an exceptional showcase for Québec research and contribute to promoting researchers as well as educational and research institutions, while consolidating Québec’s position on the global scientific stage. 

Conferences foster professional networking as well as local and international collaborations—essential levers for advancing research. They also generate significant intellectual and economic spinoffs for society as a whole. Three $10,000 prizes will be awarded at the FRQ’s annual forum, which will be held at the Palais des congrès on December 4, 2025.
