OASIS Immersion introduces Dreaming Asia, its sixth exhibition inspired by Chinese and Japanese culture. Developed in collaboration with the studio Danny Rose, this original concept invites visitors to experience three mesmerizing, immersive journeys into the colors and traditions of these two iconic countries.

Dreaming Asia is a walkthrough exhibit that alternates between sensory and meditative experiences. Immersed in an interactive, brightly colored world, visitors will (re)discover the graceful Japanese prints that have struck the imagination of people all over the world, while strolling through China’s most famous painting, Along the River During the Qingming Festival, and watching the Piying shadow puppets come to life, an artform developed over 500 years ago and now included on UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
This project, a joint collaboration between OASIS Immersion and French digital art studio Danny Rose, has been widely hailed across the world, from the Atelier des lumières in Paris to the Temple of Light in Shanghai and Kinokawa, Japan.
The Dreaming Asia exhibition is hosted at the Palais des congrès de Montréal—a major first in North America.
