Josée Gravel is a corporate director and an attorney specialized in corporate governance. Prior to, she successively served as Vice-President and General Counsel of GE Capital, a financial services firm, and of Export and Development Canada (EDC), a federal Crown corporation. During her tenures with these two organizations dedicated to growing Canadian businesses and their international reach, Josée acquired a wealth of experience in risk management, operational performance, and strategic planning. Earlier in her career, she practiced banking and real estate law at a national law firm.

She is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors and of McGill University (BCL and MBA), and a member of the Québec Bar. She also sits on the board of directors of the Valdurn Proprietors’ Association Inc
