Launch of the 12th edition of the Palais des congrès de Montréal and FRQ’s Soutien à l’organisation de congrès internationaux competition

The Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) and the Palais des congrès de Montréal invite the scientific community to participate in the 12th edition of the Soutien à l’organisation de congrès internationaux (Supporting the Organization of International Conferences) 2026–2027 competition. 

This competition recognizes the commitment of researchers in attracting and organizing major international scientific conferences held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.  

These conferences promote Québec research as well as educational and research institutions, stimulate professional networking and collaborations—both local and international—and consolidate Québec’s position on the global scientific stage. They also generate significant intellectual and economic spinoffs for society as a whole. 

Three $10,000 prizes will be awarded at the FRQ’s annual forum, which will be held at the Palais des congrès next fall.
