A Word From the President

I am very pleased and excited to head the Ambassadors Club. We form an influential group, and for the last 35+ years, we have dedicated ourselves to making Montréal a top-tier host city for major international gatherings.

The strategic alliance process introduced by Dr. Pavel Hamet has proven to be effective, and we intend to continue moving in that direction. By making it clear to international organizations that our local academic and business communities will mobilize to support the hosting of an event pertaining to their field through scientific content, tours of the venues and business opportunities, Montréal will continue to rise above other international destinations.

Getting involved in bidding for an event together with members of the Palais team enables you to tie your name to a major convention, a distinction that can have favourable repercussions on one’s career. It also adds to the city’s intellectual wealth while contributing to the advancement of knowledge.

I therefore invite you to take part in Club activities in great numbers. I look forward to seeing you there! Also, please save November 8, 2018 on your calendar. It’s the date of our next Recognition Award Gala!
