Sara Bergevin is a seasoned legal practitioner with almost 20 years experience in the public and private sectors. She joined the Palais des congrès de Montréal in 2013, where she has since been plying her expertise in various areas, namely public law, access to information, commercial law (including commercial leasing), procurement, board governance and management, risk management (especially reputational damage), major commercial negotiation, dispute resolution, and compliance, mostly with respect to privacy.
A strong advocate of team performance, continuous improvement and organizational efficiency, Sara is well reputed for championing projects related to sustainability and EDI (equity, diversity and inclusion).
Sara is also active outside the office, particularly within her business community. She sits as an observer on the board of the Alliance de l’industrie touristique du Québec, and as a member of the board of Perspective Jeunesse, a non-profit devoted to school perseverance.
