Élaine Legault took over as Director of Events and Client Experience in June 2008, after heading the Palais’s Event Production Planning and Coordination for nearly a year. Élaine’s production team specializes in working side by side with clients to plan and coordinate their events. Together, they are masters at satisfying the needs of an increasingly diversified and demanding community of event holders, and creating the optimal conditions in which to deliver the type of event they envision.

Élaine has extensive planning experience, both strategic and operational. She enjoys a reputation for relentlessly spearheading even the most exacting projects from Day One to the days of the event. Élaine holds a master’s degree in Political Science from York University. She worked 8 years in Paris for Reed Midem, a subsidiary of Reed Exhibitions, the world’s leading organizer of international trade events, where she served as Director of Education Markets Worldwide, and Director of Educational Content. She returned to Montréal in 2007.

Élaine also operated her own consulting firm for 3 years, specializing in new education-focused technologies and telecommunications. She worked at TVOntario from 1988 to 1996, where her trademark energetic style and creativity helped her rise through the ranks from Research Officer to Special Projects Manager, reporting directly to the CEO.
