A senior manager with more than 20 years of experience in Information Technology, Christian Vasseur is the holder of a Specialized Graduate Diploma (DESS) in administration and business management from the Université de Montpellier, and a Master’s degree in Information Technology from the Université de Sherbrooke.
As well as having acquired an intimate knowledge of the workings of the Palais des congrès since joining its IT team in 2016, Mr. Vasseur has well-established expertise in team management, project management, business analysis and continuous process improvement. He has, as well, earned Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifications from PDCA Conseil, and a “Cybersecurity for managers” certification from ESG+, UQÀM’s School of Management. Since coming to the Palais, Mr. Vasseur has most notably set up an Information Technology projects office, and steered several major deployments of the Ungerboeck Enterprise Resource Planning system. All projects of major significance for the Palais and its entire team!
