The Palais des congrès de Montréal, together with Arsenal Media, won gold on February 13 at the prestigious DSE 2014 APEX Awards. The Palais earned the top prize in the Event Venues category, in recognition of the quality and flexibility of its digital signage technology.
“Proud to offer a productivity-driven event experience, our teams at the Palais are always minded to staying a step ahead of our industry’s needs,” declared Raymond Larivée, President and CEO of the Société du Palais des congrès de Montréal.
“I wish to thank everyone at Arsenal Media who guided us every step of the way on this new adventure,” indicated Élaine Legault, the Palais Event Management Director. She added: “We’re delighted to have won gold in this category — a fitting reward for all the work we’ve invested ever since we launched our sweeping technological makeover.”
Advanced digital signage
The Palais’ network of 90 HD screens, including a 90 sq. ft. video wall, empowers organizers with an innovative way to promote their events and an opportunity to generate significant additional revenues for their organization. Greener than paper-based solutions and visually stunning, the digital signage is an integral part of the Palais’ new state-of-the-art infrastructure, which also includes optimal connectivity as well as an e-commerce portal slated for release in the coming weeks.
