The Palais des congrès will provide you with the right telecommunications services for your event, along with technical support from a team of seasoned professionals.
Thanks to a building-wide wi-fi network, you can access high-speed internet anywhere on our premises. We also offer a fibre optic network, telephony services, connections for credit card transactions, and multimedia conference rooms (teleconferencing, videoconferencing, webcasts).
Internet
Free Wi-Fi
Most people need to be connected at all times wherever they are at the Palais. And when it’s free, it’s even better! Event visitors and participants at the Palais can enjoy free 512k wi-fi along the Galeries du Palais shopping concourse, on Level 1. Simply join “Free zone gratuite Palais” from your list of available networks on your mobile device.
Comprehensive Wi-Fi
Need wi-fi everywhere in the Palais? Select the comprehensive wi-fi package for $12.95 a day and enjoy 768k wi-fi designed for professionals like you! Simply join “Palais des congrès” from your list of available networks on your mobile device.
Wireless network: Enjoy wireless internet access 24-7 during your event via our in-house network. Fees apply. To connect, simply find a hotspot, open your usual web browser, and follow the onscreen instructions.
Fibre optics: Available Palais-wide thanks to ISDN links 128 Kbps or by high-speed internet connections (T1, T3, etc.) and class 5 cabling for private internal network (1 Gb/s)
Coming soon: Downtown public wifi coverage for convention participants
A new public high-speed internet access area will be inaugurated shortly, which will span a 3 km radius around the Palais, and as a result will cover all of downtown’s hotels and major attractions. This means convention delegates will be able to enjoy comprehensive and integrated wifi, indoor and out. The service will be in addition to the wifi service already being offered by the Palais and the city’s hotels.
Telephony
Phones and analog lines are available for any use of fax, modem or payments by credit cards.
Internet and Teleconferencing
Our vast fibre optic network provides you with a highly advanced state-of-the-art teleconferencing service that will put you and your delegates in touch with anyone anywhere on the planet as per a variety of broadcast standards.
Intercommunications
Interphones strategically stationed in the venue’s common areas and also in some rooms will keep you in constant communication with the members of your organizing team throughout the event.
Telepresence service
Telepresence is a state-of-the-art solution that enables you to hold live face-to-face meetings with your Montréal and Québec City teams as if everyone were present in the same room. Easy to use thanks to its integrated intuitive interface, the telepresence system utilizes high definition plasma screens and ambiophonic sound. This next evolution in interactive teleconferencing bridges distances and constitutes a productive, economical and eco-friendly way to host meetings.
