With the theme for 2015 being “tomorrow’s leaders,” the Recognition Award Gala introduced a new format to mark the 30th anniversary of the Ambassadors Club. The marquee event, hosted by Marius Brisson, was attended by 400 people from the tourism industry, the business world and the academic community, who came together to salute the exceptional work of 14 new Ambassadors and four star student researchers. This year was the first time the award ceremony and the gastronomy portion of the evening were jointly and concurrently held in the same room.
The much coveted Gastronomy Symphony featured Capital Catering as well as the city’s major hotels: the Sheraton Centre Montréal, the InterContinental Montréal, the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, the Hyatt Regency Montréal, the Marriott Château Champlain, the Westin Montréal and the Hilton Montréal Bonaventure. The seven chefs prepared refined, distinctly flavoured dishes that wowed the guests. This year’s Gastronomy Symphony was an incredible showcase of know-how and virtuoso performances.
Produced by the Palais des congrès, the 2015 Recognition Award Gala was made possible with the support of numerous partners, including the Québec Department of Tourism, Freeman Audio Visual, Idées au cube, CGI, GES, the Montréal International Auto Show and Tourisme Montréal.
